The short version
This summary is here to be read. The sections below are the binding detail.
- There is nothing to sign up for. No account, no password, no email address. We never ask for your name or your date of birth. Your device makes up a random Player ID, and that is who you are to us.
- There is nothing to type. The Game has no text field anywhere — your oases are named from a fixed list — so there is no way for you to put personal information into it.
- Your towns live on your phone. Your gold, gems, marble, level, research and every oasis you build are files on your device. We keep no copy, and deleting the Game deletes them.
- We measure how the Game is played and bought — levels reached, research started, shop visits, purchases — to balance and improve it.
- The Game shows no advertising. No ad network runs in it. We do measure which of our ads brought players in; iOS asks your permission first, and you can say no.
- We do not sell your personal data and never have.
- You can ask us to delete your data. Email support@aiapps.games with your Player ID, which the Game copies for you at Settings → About. Section 9 has the detail.
1. Who we are
AI Apps Yazılım Hizmetleri ve Reklam Faaliyetleri Anonim Şirketi (“AI Apps & Games”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Türkiye, is the data controller for the personal data described here. This policy covers the mobile game Starglass (the “Game”). It does not cover our other apps, or any third-party service you reach from the Game.
Contact us about privacy at support@aiapps.games.
2. Your Player ID, and where your towns are kept
Your Player ID
The Game has no sign-up form, no password and no login screen. The first time you play, your device generates a random identifier — a version 4 UUID — which this policy calls your Player ID, and stores it in the Game’s own files. It is not derived from your name, your email address, your phone number or your Apple Account, and it tells us nothing about who you are.
The same Player ID is used as our analytics provider’s identifier for you, our attribution provider’s customer user id, and our purchase provider’s app user id, so that the records in all three belong to one player. Because it is persistent and tied to your device, we treat it as personal data and give it the protections described here.
Deleting the Game from your device deletes the Player ID with it. Nothing is mirrored to iCloud, and we write nothing to the iOS keychain ourselves. If you install the Game again you get a new Player ID and start as a new player; we cannot connect the two.
One small exception, and it is worth knowing. The software development kits our attribution and purchase providers give us can keep a technical marker in the iOS keychain— such as a counter that lets a reinstall be told apart from a new install, or the provider’s own device identifier — and iOS keeps keychain items after an app is deleted. Those items are written by the providers’ code rather than ours, so we do not decide what goes in them. What we can tell you is that your towns, your profile and your settings are not among them: those are files in the Game’s own storage, and they go when the Game goes. A keychain item is readable only by apps that share its keychain access group, and Starglass sets none, so today that means Starglass alone. This marker is the one thing on your device that can outlive deleting the Game; erasing the device clears it.
You can see and copy your Player ID at Settings → About in the Game, where Copy your Player ID puts it on your clipboard. You will need it to make a data request — it is the only way we can find your records. Copy it somewhere safe before you delete the Game, because deleting the Game takes it with it.
Where your towns are kept
Your prosperity, level, gold, gems, marble, research, house colours, purchases, settings and every oasis you have built are stored on your device, as ordinary files inside the Game’s own storage. We hold no copy of your save, there is no account to sync it to, and the Game plays with no network connection at all.
So deleting the Game deletes your towns, and we cannot give them back. Purchases are the exception: Apple keeps the record of what you bought, so Settings → Restore purchases recovers the town charter and any oasis deeds on a fresh install. Gems you have already spent cannot come back.
3. What we collect
The categories below are everything the Game collects. We do not collect your name, email address (unless you put it in a support message to us), postal address, phone number, date of birth, precise location, contacts, photos, health data or payment card details. The Game asks for no camera, microphone, photo library, location or contacts permission, and is built so that it cannot: those permission texts are empty in its App Store build.
a. Data you give us
Only what you choose to write to us. There is no text input anywhere in the Game — no player name, no town name you type, no chat, no comments. If you email us for support, we receive your message, your email address and whatever else you decide to tell us.
b. Data the Game generates as you play
- Identifiers — your Player ID; identifiers provided by iOS (the vendor identifier, and the advertising identifier only if you allow tracking, see section 5); and the install identifier our attribution provider creates.
- Device and app data— your operating system and its version, your device model, the Game’s version and build number, your screen size, and your device’s language and region setting.
- Approximate location — our analytics provider derives an approximate location (country, region, city) from the IP address your device connects from. The Game never asks for location permission and never reads GPS.
- Gameplay and product interaction— the events the Game logs as you play: first launch, each session opening and ending with its length, finishing the opening story, each step of Sahir’s tour and whether you finished, skipped or replayed it, reaching a prosperity level, starting a research, spending gems, running short of gold or gems, opening the shop, founding an oasis, collecting taxes after time away, the task list and the tasks you complete, claim or put aside, prize wheel results, and rewarded video and interstitial placements. Every event carries your current level.
- Purchase history— which product you tapped, when, and whether the purchase completed, was cancelled, is pending or failed; and our purchase provider’s record of what your Apple Account owns. We never see your card details.
- Attribution data — whether your install came from one of our ads and, if it did, which campaign, ad group, ad, keyword and creative; and your answer to the iOS tracking prompt.
Events are queued in a file on your device and sent to our analytics provider over an encrypted connection, so that an event logged as you put the phone down is not lost. Runs we make ourselves for tests, screenshots and benchmarks send nothing at all.
4. Why we use it, and our legal basis
| What for | Data | Legal basis (GDPR / KVKK) |
|---|---|---|
| Running the Game — delivering what you buy, restoring purchases, keeping a consumable from being delivered twice | Player ID, purchase history, device identifiers | Performance of our contract with you (the Terms of Use) |
| Understanding and improving the Game — balancing the economy, finding where players get stuck, seeing what the tour and the story do | Player ID, device and app data, approximate location, gameplay and product interaction events | Our legitimate interest in making a game people want to keep playing, balanced against your privacy — the data is behavioural, not identifying |
| Measuring our own advertising — which campaign brought a player in, so we know where to spend | Attribution data, install identifier, advertising identifier only with your consent | Your consent, given through the iOS tracking prompt, for anything involving the advertising identifier; legitimate interest for the aggregated reports Apple sends us when you decline |
| Support — answering your email, reproducing a problem | What you write to us | Performance of our contract, and our legitimate interest in helping players |
| Books, tax and defending claims | Purchase and transaction records | Legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in establishing or defending legal claims |
Where we rely on legitimate interest, you may object — see section 9. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, which does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.
5. Advertising and the iOS tracking prompt
The Game shows you no ads
No advertising network runs inside Starglass, and no ad SDK is built into it. The Game does offer you a “video” in exchange for gold, a doubled level reward, a festival, tripled offline taxes or a faster research, and it shows a screen between some levels. In this version those are placeholders drawn by the Game itself: no third party is contacted, no advertisement is fetched, and no data about you goes to an ad network. If we ever connect a real ad network, we will update this policy and tell you before it ships.
We do advertise the Game elsewhere
We buy ads for Starglass, and we measure whether they work — otherwise we cannot tell where to spend, and the Game is free. For that measurement, iOS shows you the App Tracking Transparency prompt a moment after you first launch the Game. Your answer is entirely up to you and the Game plays identically either way:
- If you allow it, the Game may access your device advertising identifier (IDFA) and share it, with install and purchase events, with our attribution and analytics providers, so that an install can be linked to the ad or keyword that brought you in.
- If you decline, the advertising identifier is not accessed and no cross-app tracking takes place. We still receive privacy-preserving install reports through Apple’s SKAdNetwork, which are aggregated by Apple and do not identify you or your device.
You can change your mind at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, which grants or withdraws that consent for the Game. Turning off Allow Apps to Request to Track declines it for every app.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone so that they can advertise their own products to you. We use the following providers to run the Game. Each gets only what it needs and is bound to use it only for us.
| Provider | What for | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Apple | App Store distribution, payments, install attribution reporting | Your purchases and payment details (as data controller, under Apple’s own policy); aggregated SKAdNetwork reports |
| Mixpanel | Product analytics — how the Game is played | Player ID, device and app data, IP address (from which it derives an approximate location), gameplay and product interaction events, purchase events, your tracking answer and which campaign brought you in |
| AppsFlyer | Attributing installs to our own ad campaigns, and the SKAdNetwork conversion value | Player ID, device identifiers, the advertising identifier only with your consent, install data, and four events: finishing the tour, reaching a level, opening the shop, and tapping a buy button |
| RevenueCat | Managing and validating in-app purchases | Player ID, device identifiers, purchase and entitlement records. It also reports purchase revenue to AppsFlyer on our behalf, so that we can tell which campaigns pay for themselves |
That is the whole list. The Game contacts no other server: there is no backend of ours, no leaderboard, no cloud save and no AI service behind it.
We may also disclose personal data:
- where we are legally required to, or to respond to a valid request from a public authority — we check that requests are lawful and proportionate before complying;
- to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to enforce our Terms of Use;
- to protect the rights, safety or property of players, the public or us;
- to a buyer or successor if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply.
7. International transfers
We are based in Türkiye and our providers operate internationally, including in the United States. Using the Game therefore involves transferring your data outside your own country, including outside the EEA, the UK and Türkiye, to countries whose data protection laws may differ from your own.
Where we transfer data out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards — normally the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK Addendum where relevant), or an adequacy decision where one applies. For transfers from Türkiye we rely on the mechanisms permitted by the KVKK, including your explicit consent or an approved undertaking where required. Write to support@aiapps.games for details of the safeguards that apply to a particular transfer.
8. How long we keep it
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Your towns, profile, settings and Player ID — on your device only | Until you delete the Game, which deletes all of it. We never hold a copy |
| Analytics and product interaction events | For as long as they are useful for balancing and improving the Game, reviewed periodically and deleted when they are not |
| Attribution and install records | For as long as we need to judge the campaign that produced the install, and no longer than our provider’s standard retention |
| Support emails | While we handle your request and for a reasonable period after, in case you write again |
| Purchase and transaction records | As long as tax, accounting and consumer law require — in Türkiye normally ten years |
9. Your rights, and how to use them
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of these rights: access a copy of your data; rectify it if it is wrong; erase it; restrict or object to how we use it, including profiling; portability; withdraw consent at any time without affecting what we did before; and complain to a regulator.
How to make a request
Email support@aiapps.games. We will respond within the time the law allows — one month under the GDPR, thirty days under the KVKK — and we may extend that where a request is complex, telling you why.
Finding your records. Because the Game has no login, your Player ID is the only key we hold, so include it in your email — Settings → About → Copy your Player ID (section 2). If you cannot get at it, because you have already deleted the Game or your build does not show it, tell us what you can: the approximate date you first played, your device model, your country, and — if you have bought anything — the App Store receipt or order ID for that purchase, which lets our purchase provider point us at the right record. If you have deleted the Game and bought nothing, we will usually have no way to find your records or to connect them to you — which is also the reason they are not readily identifiable to us in the first place. We will say so plainly rather than guess, and we will never delete a record on a guess.
Deleting your data
- On your device:deleting the Game removes everything it holds — your towns, your profile, your settings and your Player ID. There is no iCloud copy to clear afterwards. The providers’ keychain marker described in section 2 is the one thing deleting the Game leaves behind, and erasing the device clears that too.
- With our providers: email us as above and we will delete the analytics, attribution and purchase records we can identify as yours, and instruct our providers to do the same. We will keep what the law requires us to keep — transaction records for tax, for example — and may keep a minimal record that you asked, so that the request is honoured.
- Stop future tracking at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (section 5).
Complaints
Please raise it with us first — support@aiapps.games — and we will try to fix it. You can also complain to your supervisory authority: in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK, kvkk.gov.tr); in the EEA, the data protection authority where you live, work, or where the issue arose; in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
10. If you live in California or another US state
Over the past twelve months we have collected the categories of personal information described in section 3: identifiers (Player ID, device and advertising identifiers, IP address), commercial information (in-app purchases), geolocation data (approximate location derived from IP address, not precise location), and internet or other electronic network activity (gameplay and product interaction events). We collect it from you and from your device, for the purposes in section 4, and disclose it to the providers in section 6.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. Sharing your advertising identifier with our attribution provider so that we can measure our own campaigns may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law. Declining the iOS tracking prompt opts you out of that entirely — that is the opt-out mechanism, and it is offered to every player up front. You can also change it later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
You have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, to opt out of sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights — the Game plays exactly the same either way. Exercise them via support@aiapps.games. An authorised agent may act for you with written proof.
11. Children
Starglass is a peaceful building game with no violence, but it is not directed to children, it is not submitted to the App Store as a Kids Category app, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13 — or under the higher digital age of consent that applies where you live, up to 16 in parts of the EEA.
We do not ask for age or identity, so we cannot detect a child by their data alone. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, email support@aiapps.gameswith what you know (see section 9) and we will delete it promptly. To stop purchases on a shared device, use Apple’s Screen Time, Ask to Buy and in-app purchase restrictions.
12. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: everything the Game sends goes over encrypted connections, restricted access to the dashboards that hold it, and reputable providers with their own security programmes. The Game has no account to break into and no server of ours behind it, which removes whole classes of risk by design.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the relevant authority and affected players as the law requires.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the Game or the law changes. The current version always lives at this address, dated at the top. If a change is material — a new purpose, a new category of data, a new recipient, or an advertising network inside the Game — we will take reasonable steps to tell you before it takes effect, and will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
